Who We Are
Board of Directors Our volunteer Board of Directors is actively involved in all aspects of Citizen Advocacy.
Kate Blane Kate Blane has lived in Athens for over 30 years and has worked in IT at UGA for almost as long. She has been involved with a number of non-profits in Athens and is attracted to CAAC because of its highly idealistic members and the service it provides to the community.
Paul Dorsey, Jr. Paul Dorsey, Jr. is a native of Athens and attended Cedar Shoals High School the first year it opened (1972-73). Having a head trauma prior to that time, he is somewhat familiar with the 'local difficulties' addressed by CAAC. He now works part-time with Habitat Restore. He knows some of society's prejudices, but also witnesses a better world partly due to organizations like CAAC.
